Say goodbye to your old life!

Hey peeps. How have you been?

I’ve been away from my blog the past couple of days, but the good news is, I’ve decided to publish a new blog post twice a week. How about that?

Now coming back to the post;

Have you ever found yourself sitting somewhere and hoping that the next day would be different?

I get it. I’ve been there. I know a thing about overcoming our challenges, starting over and loving our self through the mess.

The reality is that our life is not always going to be filled with adventures and success. We’ll still have days of despair and unhappiness.

Here are some ideas to say goodbye to your old life.

  1. Appreciate what you have

It’s easy to get caught up in wanting things you don’t have yet. But the key to get the things you want in life is to be grateful for what you already have.

  1. Ask someone to compliment you.

Find someone whom you can talk to and tell you if you’re having a hard time finding things to compliment about yourself. Ask them what they think your talents and hidden skills are and where your beauty lies. This will help give you a better look at who you really are. There is nothing wrong in asking someone to compliment you.

  1. Stop letting toxic people into your life

You don’t have to be hanging out with people who are being toxic in your life. Be it your family or friends, if your experience with them in your life is negative, get distant from them.
You can love them in distance, but there’s no need for any toxic in your life.

  1. Move forward with your past mistakes

Mistakes do not define you. The average person makes at least one mistake a day. Don’t beat yourself up, you’re human. Learn from it and let it go before you go to sleep.

  1. Speak up for yourself

If you don’t start speaking up for what you really want to say and if you’re always holding back it, there’s is more chance that you will carry bitterness and resentment. It’s your right to speak up and express your true feelings.

  1. Focus on the positive

Make yourself feel good. If you know that you’re good at something like baking, writing, or anything, do more of those things. Validate yourself and share it with others.

  1. Take a break

Even if it’s just for a day, go somewhere that you’ve never been before or go to a place where you distance yourself from your everyday routine. Don’t wait for the perfect time as the perfect time never comes.

You’re not lost, or a failure in your life. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Have faith and keep going and soon you’ll be in the clear once more.

    I can definitely relate to wish the next day would be different, because who doesn’t?! We’re only human, and we would rather not have to over-come the daily struggles that life throws at us, but it makes us stronger 💛 I can agree with all these points, and will definitely be applying these to my life ✨
